One Intern’s Summer at Sudsies One of Sudsies more recent interns traded textbooks for garment tags this summer. Paulette Rabinowich, a 22-year-old hospitality major at Florida State University and the daughter of a Sudsies veteran (Benny Rabinowich manages the Boca Raton Boutique) is learning that Sudsies is about much more than just stain removal. While her days are filled with assisting customers, meticulously tagging clothes, learning how to care for high-end brands at Sudsies University, and running errands for her fellow employees, Paulette discovered that the company culture is what truly sets Sudsies apart. Sudsies and Teamwork “The teamwork is incredible; everyone communicates really well and knows what’s happening when dealing with clients, which is really important,” Paulette said. She also said that when she finishes her day and returns home to recap it with her mom, she is all smiles. “Everyone is just so friendly and nice – it’s like being in a tv show. Everything just clicks and works so well,” she said. It’s clear that Sudsies prioritizes building relationships (internally and with their guests), not just cleaning clothes. Paulette’s love for fashion also makes this the perfect fit for her summer job. “I just really like fashion, and every day gives me a new chance to see amazing high-end pieces,” she said. She particularly liked the Chanel leather sets that the team recently meticulously cared for, as well as the Cult Gaia pieces that were being carefully altered. “It was all the clothes I loved seeing on Instagram, now right here in front of me!” she said. Sudsies and Service If Paulette were to take one thing away from this experience to carry forward into her studies, it’s the way Sudsies approaches service. She says: “The communication is really important at Sudsies, and it truly makes a difference in their success compared to other companies. Employees send messages and pass along how the customers are feeling.” Everything is noted down and shared so customers can truly feel heard and understood, she explained. One might be surprised to learn that this fashion enthusiast has her sights set on law school, specifically corporate or entertainment law. So, how does Sudsies play a role in Paulette’s legal aspirations? Jason, Sudsies CEO, provided Paulette with a unique opportunity to see the managerial side of the business. Through invaluable one-on-one interactions with management, Paulette has learned how to navigate high-end client relationships and efficient business operations – skills that will undoubtedly translate perfectly into the legal world. “Jason gave me the opportunity of seeing a more managerial side; if I worked in a different company, I wouldn’t have the opportunity of the one-on-one opportunities with management,” she explained. So, if you find yourself at the North Miami Boutique, don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation with Paulette about fashion, customer service, or even her future law career dreams! And the next time your wardrobe needs extra special care, remember that Sudsies is at your service.
Bespoke Suiting – More than simply made to measure
Maybe it’s the fact that we’re in the clothing industry. Or maybe it’s the fact that we love quality clothing. Whatever it is, we’re always in awe of bespoke suits. First of all, the history of the men’s suit can literally be traced back hundreds of years. I mean, the off the rack suit wasn’t even an option till the sewing machine was invented in the early 1800s. Before that, all men wore bespoke suits. Either you were fitted for it with a tailor, or you bought it second-hand. Today, in the midst of the throwaway fashion, there are still plenty of men who know the value, sophistication and confidence that only bespoke suits can bring. It’s the pinnacle of customization. Imagine having a suit designed exclusively for you, with every detail based on your taste. Imagine someone measuring your arms, your legs, your chest, your waist, your back, your seat, even the slope of your shoulders to create a suit just for you. Every imperceptible unique trait of your body is considered in order to make a bespoke suit. The process of creating a pattern and making a suit entirely from scratch is extraordinary. But the fact that you get to be involved in every decision is equally special. Do you need a conservative color and fabric? Go with a navy blue wool suit. Do you want something for warmer weather months? Pick a tan tweed. Do you want a go-to wedding suit? You can’t go wrong with a charcoal gray linen. Do you want to stand out? Choose a pattern that lets you do just that. With a bespoke suit, you choose whatever fabric you want. And if you don’t know what you want, a tailor is always experienced enough to tell you what textures and colors will flatter you. If you have the option of owning a bespoke suit, go for it! It’s such a wonderful experience. A bespoke suit isn’t just the best fitting and most comfortable suit you’ll ever own, it will also be the one you own the longest. It’s not unheard of getting twenty or thirty years of use. Now that’s a good value. Rest assured, Sudsies understands a bespoke suit is an investment that needs to be well-cared for, which is why we combine experience, expertise, and the greenest cutting-edge technologies to keep your bespoke suit in outstanding condition.
