When Sudsies Meets Miami Style: Behind the Scenes of a Design District Collaboration
Something exciting happened at Sudsies last November, and we couldn’t wait to share it.
On November 5, our Design District boutique at 6100 became the filming location for a commercial celebrating the Andrew × Salomon XT-6 “Florida Stone Crab”, a limited-edition sneaker collaboration inspired by the color, energy, and rhythm of Miami. When Andrew Skate Shop and Salomon approached us about using our space, the answer was an easy yes.
A Natural Fit for Sudsies
Many of our guests already trust Sudsies with their Salomon skiwear and technical outerwear during ski season and winter travel. We clean pieces that are built for performance, movement, and durability, and we understand how to care for them properly. So when a collaboration rooted in performance design and Miami culture came along, it felt like a natural extension of what we already do every day.
The XT-6 Andrew “Florida Stone Crab” sneaker blends technical construction with a strong local story. The coral-to-taupe gradient nods to one of South Florida’s most iconic symbols, while the silhouette itself is designed to keep up with an active, fast-moving lifestyle. That combination of function and style is something we see constantly in our guests’ wardrobes.
Capturing the Energy of Miami
The commercial follows its main character through a busy Miami day, moving quickly between streets, neighborhoods, and moments. Anyone who lives here recognizes that pace immediately.
It’s the same rhythm we see inside Sudsies every day. Our guests juggle work, travel, events, fitness, and family, often all in the same week. They want their clothes and gear to be ready for whatever comes next, without slowing them down. Being part of a project that celebrates that energy felt authentic to who we are.
A Real Sudsies Boutique, in Action
The filming took place inside and around our fully operational Design District location. This wasn’t a staged set or a closed space. Our team continued working, garments continued moving through the process, and guests continued coming and going.
That mattered to us.
Sudsies is proud to be part of the neighborhoods we serve. Our boutiques are designed to support real life, real schedules, and real wardrobes. Being able to open our doors to a creative project like this, while still doing what we do best, is something we genuinely enjoy.
Performance Wear Is Everyday Wear Now
Projects like this also reflect how wardrobes are changing. Technical footwear, skiwear, and performance fabrics are no longer limited to one environment. They show up at art events, on flights, during weekends in the city, and everywhere in between.
That’s why we love caring for Salomon skiwear and other performance pieces. These garments are made to move, and they deserve care that respects how they’re built and how they’re used. Our team understands the materials, construction, and finishes that make technical gear perform, and we take pride in keeping those pieces ready for their next adventure.
Part of the Community, Always
Being involved in the Andrew × Salomon XT-6 “Florida Stone Crab” project was a reminder of something we value deeply at Sudsies. We are not just here to clean clothes. We are here to support the people, brands, and communities that make Miami what it is.
We love when our space becomes part of the city’s creative story. We love caring for the gear that takes you from Miami to the mountains and back again. And we love being trusted with the pieces that matter to you.
If your Salomon skiwear, technical outerwear, or everyday favorites need a refresh after a busy season, you know where to find us.
We can’t wait to see you in our boutiques!
